Gain in-demand welding skills and earn a college credential on a schedule that works for you. If you already have welding experience, you’ll focus on the skills you need and may complete the program more quickly.

The Basic Welder/Fabricator Certificate provides hands-on training in the essential skills used in today’s welding and fabrication shops. You’ll learn cutting processes, MIG and TIG welding, fabrication techniques, and how to read welding symbols and specifications. This 17-credit hour certificate prepares you to perform basic welding and metal fabrication tasks in manufacturing, construction, maintenance, and related industries.
