Wilkesboro, N.C. – Wilkes Community College proudly recognized the accomplishments of its Emergency Medical Science (EMS) Class of 2025 during a special pinning ceremony held on May 12, 2025. The event honored the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the graduates as they prepare to serve their communities in vital emergency care roles.

Family, friends, faculty, and community members gathered to celebrate these graduates who have completed a rigorous and highly respected EMS program. The pinning ceremony symbolizes their readiness to enter the field as emergency medical professionals, equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide critical care in life-saving situations.

“The EMS program at WCC is proud to graduate another class of compassionate and capable professionals who are ready to make a difference,” said Sarah Triplett, program director for Emergency medical Science (EMS).

WCC’s EMS program prepares students for careers as Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and clinical experiences. The program is designed to meet the growing demand for emergency healthcare providers across the region and beyond.
