Electrical Wiring

There is a continuous demand for skilled residential electricians in both homes and businesses. At Wilkes Community College, you can learn the following skills:

  • Theory and practice of electrical circuits
  • Alternating and direct currents
  • Electrical tools and equipment
  • Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Electrical components and symbols
  • Series & Parallel Circuits

The courses offer practical training in standard wiring techniques, methodologies, and the use of equipment and materials, all under the supervision of an instructor. The lab is designed to replicate real-world situations.
