Upcoming Workforce Development and Community Education Courses

This course provides an introduction to understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. Emphasis is placed on pronunciation, parts of speech, communicative phrases, culture, and skills for language acquisition. Upon completion, students should be able to identify and apply basic grammar concepts, display cultural awareness, and communicate simple Spanish phrases.

This course is designed for instructional areas related to the layout and design of technical reports used in business and industry: 1) audience analysis, 2) data collection and analysis, 3) technical writing style and organization, 4) oral presentation of technical data, and 5) appropriate use of graphics in written and oral presentations.
