WILKESBORO, N.C. – Wilkes Community College (WCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Zachary (Zach) Luffman to the WCC Board of Trustees. His four-year term will run from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2029.

Luffman brings a wealth of expertise in business law, franchise development, and corporate governance to his role on the board. A licensed attorney and Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), he has eight years of experience leading franchise growth, territory expansion, and compliance initiatives for Window World, Inc., America’s largest exterior remodeler with more than 230 franchise locations.

Currently working as Director of Franchising at Window World, Inc. Luffman oversees national franchise development, owner onboarding, and system-wide compliance. He works closely with legal, marketing, and operations teams to ensure brand consistency and contractual compliance, while also advising on long-term strategic growth.

Luffman holds a Juris Doctor, from Elon University School of Law, where he was a Business Fellow and served as Online Editor of the Elon Law Business Journal. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Appalachian State University, where he was a member of the Heltzer Honors Program and an Appalachian Ambassador.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Luffman is an active community leader. He currently serves as Chair of the Wilkes Medical Center Foundation Board, as a board member of the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, and as a long-standing member of the North Wilkesboro Rotary Club.
