Wilkesboro, N.C. – The Walker Center at Wilkes Community College recently hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast to honor the many dedicated individuals who support the center through their time and service. The event, held on the Wilkes Community College campus, brought together volunteers for a morning of fellowship, gratitude, and recognition.
“We asked our volunteers, what’s all the buzz about—and it was them, of course” said Tabitha Hudler Director of the Walker Center “Giving selflessly is the true definition of a volunteer and they live up to that in all aspects. This breakfast is a special opportunity to thank them for their unwavering support.”
The Walker Center depends on its volunteers to welcome guests, assist with performances, and contribute to the overall success of its programming. Their efforts not only strengthen the mission of the Walker Center but also help expand cultural and educational opportunities for the entire community.
Volunteers were celebrated for their dedication and commitment to serving both the college and the community.
