This workshop is aimed at small business owners interested in creating a Facebook page. In this seminar we will walk through the steps of creating a business Facebook page. We’ll cover why a Facebook page is important vs. using a personal Facebook profile for business, how your page works, and all the settings to get your page up and running by the end of the workshop. The seminar is specific for those who are brand new to the Facebook social media platform.

Quality images can set your business apart from the competition as an essential element to your marketing strategy. In this seminar, you will gain an understanding of photography strategies based on your business goals, including how to best visually communicate the value of your products and services to your target audiences. The instructor will help you figure out the why, when, and how of photography for print and digital channels. Also, you will learn to evaluate when you should hire a professional and what you should try to produce on your own, regardless of your budget.
Where’s the Money? State Rules on Raising Capital to Finance Your Small Business – July 29, 2019, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30- p.m. – Alleghany Center
Have you heard of Reg A-plus? Did you know you can raise up to $50 million using this option–as long as you follow the rules? What about crowd funding? Cryptocurrency? What about other fundraising options? The Secretary of State’s Office will provide insight into capital-raising rules it administers and enforces.
