Respiratory Therapy Information Session

This online information session (steps 1-3 below) must be completed by June 25, 2026, to be considered for the Fall 2026 Respiratory Therapy program. A 2026 Respiratory Therapy application must be completed prior to completing this information session. If a 2026 Respiratory Therapy application is not completed, the student will not receive credit for completing the information session online.

Complete the quiz below. You must score 10 out of 10 to pass the quiz. Once you pass, a form will open and must be filled out to finalize the process. If you do not pass the quiz, review the material and attempt the quiz again as needed.

    1. 1. The Respiratory Therapy program is First Qualified/First Accepted program.

    2. 2. Students can apply for two limited admission programs each application cycle.

    3. 3. You need to send a copy of the Certificate of Understanding to Andrea Smith via email.

    4. 4. High school diploma or recognized equivalent must be completed before entry into the program.

    5. 5. The following are required courses for the Respiratory Therapy Program: High school Biology or College level Biology and High school Chemistry or College level Chemistry.

    6. 6. MAR Reviews are only held in-person.

    7. 7. Respiratory Therapy (RCP) courses cannot be taken until accepted into the program.

    8. 8. Accepted applicants will know if accepted at the end of the MAR review.

    9. 9. Students admitted to the program will be required to submit criminal background checks and drug screenings as directed by affiliated clinical agencies.

    10. 10. Applicants who are selected for admission to the RT program, must submit CPR Certification and Medical Form to the Program Director by the deadline date.

    When you submit your quiz above, if you have received a passing score, an online form will open. You must complete the online form to receive credit for the information session.
