About the WCC Food Pantry
The WCC Food Pantry first opened during the fall 2017 semester with the goal of promoting student success by ensuring that all students have access to food while they are on campus. Since opening, the pantry has served hundreds of students. WCC has partnered with Wilkes Ministry of H.O.P.E. and Second Harvest Food Bank to ensure the sustainability of this program.
The Ashe Campus food pantry is made possible through a partnership with the Ashe County Sharing Center.
The Alleghany Center food pantry has been made possible through a partnership with the Roaring Gap Foundation.
