After graduation, she plans to continue her education in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she will pursue a master’s degree in accounting and eventually obtain her license as a Certified Public Accountant.

“I am blessed and thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful people here at Wilkes Community College who open up new opportunities for me and who are helping me to achieve my goals,” stated Prevette.

Since 1980, the North Carolina CPA Foundation has worked in partnership with the North Carolina Association of CPAs to provide scholarships and opportunities for students to explore the accounting career and understand the opportunities that come with the CPA credential. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $1.8 million in scholarships, impacting almost 1,600 accounting students in our state.
