Wilkes Community College students with top academic standing have been named marshals for Wilkes Community College’s 52nd Annual Commencement Ceremony to take place on Tuesday, May 14, in the John A. Walker Community Center on the Wilkes Campus. Two ceremonies will be held.
The Arts & Sciences Division and the Business & Public Service Technologies Division graduates will participate in the 4 p.m. ceremony. Applied Career Technologies Division and The Health Sciences Division graduates will participate in the 7 p.m. ceremony. Graduates have received their allotments of admission tickets. Members of the public may view the graduation ceremonies through a live stream from www.wilkescc.edu/Graduation.

Grace Olivia Talley of State Road is a student in the Associate in Science program and Wilkes Early College High School. She is the daughter of Steven and Beverly Talley of State Road.
Alexandra Baylee Gilbert of Wilkes is a student in the Career and College Promise College Transfer Pathway program. She is the daughter of Barry and Angela Gilbert of Wilkes County.
Breanna Nichole Laws of North Wilkesboro is a student in the Associate of Arts program. She is the daughter of Randy & Tara Laws of North Wilkesboro.
Jacob Lee Wood of North Wilkesboro is a student in the Associate of Arts program. He is the son of Kevin and Sandy Wood of North Wilkesboro.
Rachel Olivia Shepherd of Millers Creek is a student in the Career and College Promise College Transfer Pathway program. She is the daughter of David and Clarissa Shepherd of Millers Creek.
Lisa B. St. Germain of Jefferson is a student in the Associate in Arts program. She is the wife of Kelley St. Germain.
Emmalee Rose Wages of Wilkesboro is a student in the Associate in Arts program and Wilkes Early College High School. She is the daughter of Vestas and Deborah Wages of Wilkesboro.
Elizabeth Pearl Williams of North Wilkesboro is a student in the Applied Animal Science Technology program and Applied Animal Science Technology in Poultry Management. She is the daughter of Marchella Nance of North Wilkesboro and the mother of Inman Brown and Freya Brown.

Melissa Ann Pennell of Millers Creek is a student in the Associate Degree Nursing. She is the daughter of Bobby Parsons and the late Bonnie Bell Parsons of Millers Creek. She is the wife of Nathan Pennell and mother of Bethany Church and Jesse Pennell.
Carla Marie Melton of Hamptonville is a student in the Associates in Arts program. She is the daughter of Leo Harris of Yadkinville and Judy Smith of Boonville. She is the wife of Andy Melton and the mother of Addison Pilcher and Lane Melton.
