Employee Quick Help and FAQs

If you do not know your Wilkes Community College User ID, please follow the instructions to retrieve User ID

  • Click Step 1 above.
  • In the new window, select the What’s my User ID link
  • Enter your last name and social security number
  • Click Submit to retrieve User ID

If you are unable to retrieve your User ID, contact the administrative assistant for your division or Human Resources.

Password Reset is a service that allows users to manage their passwords for Self-Service, Office 365, Moodle, and other WCC resources from one location.  Users must first enroll in the service.

How to enroll in Password Reset

  • Select Step 2 above.
  • Select Enroll from the list of options.
  • Enter User ID (found in Step 1) and default password of  WccMMDDYY (Wcc + your six- digit birth date)
  • Create security questions by selecting from drop down options and entering answers.
  • Click next to save answers.
  • Click Finish after receiving confirmation that enrollment is complete.

How to reset a password

  • Select Step 2 above for Password Reset.
  • Select Reset Password option from the menu.
  • Enter User ID.Answer two security questions and click Next.
  • Enter new secure password twice and click  Next to save new password.

If you are unable to “Reset” your password or enroll in the Password Reset service as instructed above, contact the Administrative Assistant for your division.

The iNsider is a employee portal with links to employee resources, Office 365 email, and important college announcement. Resources include Office 365, Self-Service, Moodle, KnowBe4 Training, Docusign, E-forms, and more.  Employees should sign into the iNsider regularly for important college announcements.

The iNsider is password protected, all employees must sign in.

  • Click Step 3 above for the iNsider
  • Enter WCC email address and current password.  Example: userid@wilkescc.edu

Office 365 as the main method of communication for both employees and students.

Office 365 is more than just email, users can use the Microsoft Office applications they know such as Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as new applications like Planner and Skype for Business.

How do I sign into Office 365?

  • From the iNsider, select the Office 365 icon.
  • To open email, select the Outlook App from Office 365.

Moodle is Wilkes Community College’s online learning management system. Moodle courses provide a central location for accessing online course information, such as course announcements, course syllabi, grades, activities, assignments, tests, discussion boards, course content.

How do I sign into Moodle?

  • From the iNsider, select the Moodle icon.
  • Enter User ID and current password, select Log in.

Self-Service can be access from the iNsider or click here for Self-Service.

  • Sign into Self-Service by entering your User ID and current password.
  • Select Tax Information from the Self-Service menu.
  • Select W-2 Information from the top tab, then select the Tax Year you wish to download.
