Employee Quick Help and FAQs

The iNsider
Links to Wilkes Community College (WCC) resources as well as current employee announcements can be found on the iNsder.  Employees are encouraged to sign into the iNsider regularly.

How do I sign into the iNsider?
The iNsider is password protected, all employees must sign in using their WCC email address and current password.
Example: userid@wilkescc.edu

Having trouble logging into the iNsider
If you do not know your current password, please see the Password Reset instructions.

How do I sign find my W2 in Self-Service

  • Go to the iNsider or select this Self-Service link.
  • Enter your User ID and current password.
  • Select Tax Information from the Self-Service menu
  • Select the W-2 Information from the top tab and select the Tax Year.

Having trouble logging into Self Service
If you do not know your current password, please see the Password Reset instructions.

Password Reset is a service that allows users to manage their passwords for Self-Service, Office 365, and Moodle from one location.  Users must first enroll in the service.

Enroll in Password Reset

See Step 2 above.  Click the link to be redirected to Password Reset.

  • Select Enroll and enter User ID(found in Step 1) and initial password of WccMMDDYY(Wcc + your six- digit birth date) or use your current password.
  • Create security questions by selecting from drop down and entering answers, click next to save answers.
  • Click Finish after receiving confirmation that enrollment is complete.

How to reset a password

See Step 2 above.  Click the link to be redirected to Password Reset.

  • Select Reset Password option from the menu and enter User ID.
  • Answer two security questions and click Next.
  • Enter new secure password twice and click Next to save new password.

What to do if unable to Reset Password
If you are unable to “Reset” your password, or enroll in the Password Reset service as instructed above, contact the Administrative Assistant for your division.  Your Administrative Assistant can submit a WCC Help Desk ticket on your behalf.

Office 365
Wilkes Community College has moved to Office 365 as the main method of communication for both employees and students.

Office 365 is more than just email.  Users can use the Microsoft Office applications they know and love online such as Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as new applications like Planner and Skype for Business.

How do I sign into Office 365?
Enter WCC email address and current password.
Example: userid@wilkescc.edu

Click here to sign into Office 365 or select the Office 365 icon from the iNsider.
