The Wilkes Community College Bookstore, owned and operated by Wilkes Community College, welcomes you to our web page.
We are located on the second floor of Thompson Hall.
Summer Term 2013 Hours of operation:
Monday - Thursday: 8:45 am - 4:30 pm
Friday: 8:45 am - 2:30 pm
Our regular hours of operation will resume Fall Semester 2013 and those hours are:
Monday-Thursday, 8:45 am - 6:00 pm and Friday, 8:45 am-3:00 pm.
We are closed during official college holidays and Saturdays unless prearranged for Saturday classes.
In addition to supplying students with all of their required and recommended textbooks and school supplies, the Bookstore also offers a wide range of items, including computers, computer software, trade books, book bags, book bags on wheels, briefcases, study aids, greeting cards, seasonal and everyday gifts, art supplies, stuffed animals, and more.
The Wilkes Community College Bookstore graciously offers to its customers key services, such as small personal check cashing, postage stamps, mail drop, gift wrapping, class rings, and special orders. Selected course books needed for future classes may be sold back to the Bookstore. Book buy back is usually the last three days in each semester. Master Card, VISA, Discover Card, personal checks, and cash are accepted.

2013 Summer Term Book List
The Summer Term 2013 book list is now available online. Our textbook management system automatically lists used book prices but that is no guarantee that used books are available.
Financial Aid:
3rd Party Sponsorship and Nelnet Payment Plans may be used beginning Monday, July 22, 2013 for Fall Semester 2013
Pell Grant, Direct Loans and Scholarships funds may be used beginning Friday, August 9, 2013 for Fall Semester 2013
Book Buy Back:
Summer Term Book Buy Back is Thursday, August 1, 2013, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday, August 2, 2013, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm at both Wilkes and Ashe campuses. Alleghany Center will not conduct a Summer Term Book Buy Back.
